[font=新宋体][color=black][b] 国际货运代理协会联合会( 法文简称FIATA, 英文全称International Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations ) 是一个世界运输领域最大的非政府和非营利性组织,具有广泛的国际影响。该会于1926年5月31日在奥地利维也纳成立,总部设在瑞士苏黎士,其目的是保障和提高国际货运代理在全球的利益。成员主要来自世界各国的国际货运代理协会,包括40000个国际货运代理公司、800-1000万雇员的代表。现有来自86个国家和地区96个国家级会员,2700万家个体会员,遍布150个国家和地区。我国对外贸易运输总公司作为国家级会员的身份,于1985年加入该组织。2000年9月中国国际货运代理协会成立,次年作为国际会员加入FIATA。[/b]

2_0Voq m D kB:^     FIATA, a non-governmental organisation, represents today an industry covering approximately 40,000 forwarding and logistics firms, also known as the "Architects of Transport", employing around 8 - 10 million people in 150 countries.

This international event brings together the freight forwarding industry and transport world. It serves to conduct the business of the Federation, is a social occasion and last but not least acts as a meeting place to conduct business. The prime target of these regional meetings is to bring forward the specific issues of regional concern and interest, and if necessary submit them to the Institutes and Advisory Bodies of FIATA. The intention being to identify and assist regional members in solving the local difficulties. Another important topic is to gain synergies between the member countries of the regions and to import and export these benefits to other national associations.[/size][/font][/size][/font]|$]c'WPM+}u

']i Kj2w\ t [font=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif][size=-1][color=black]    Just before the World Congress 2001 in Cancún and on the occasion of FIATA's 75th Anniversary, the Presidency of FIATA decided to mark this particular event with the creation of the FIATA FOUNDATION - VOCATIONAL TRAINING, an institution which aims to assist Associations in less privileged countries to build up and enhance professional skill in the industry. The Management Committee of the Foundation coordinates the fundraising activities, evaluates the applications for funds and helps the Associations on the implementation of Training projects.
